Hi people,
the next job is at the door ... literally at my personal doorstep. Because on Saturday October 14th, I will present the final evening of the 9thInternational Mountain Summit in my beautiful home town of Bressanone.
IMS is the world's biggest mountain event and over the last years it can look back on 73,000 visitors, over 160 professional climbers and more than 450 speakers from all over the world. As part of the final evening, there will be the awarding ceremony of the IMS Photo Contest, a world-wide recognized mountain photo contest and afterwards the part I am particularly keen on as I am a hobby climber: the keynote by Alex Honnold, the undisputed world-wide number 1 in the climbing sport. He is the only person to have free-solo climbed "The Nose", a 910 meters high wall on El Capitan in the Yosemite National Park. In addition to that he has climbed it in less than 6 hours, while the usual time is 2 to 4 days.
Well then see you on October 14th at IMS in Bressanone!
Ciao!
