Pietro on Forbes Italia

Hi folks!

Well… guess what? I am super happy and excited because I’ve just been featured in Forbes Italia — in their “Small Giants” section.

From Bressanone to international stages, the article looks at my journey across TV, global events, and conferences — working in five languages, across 20 countries, and sharing the stage with some incredible names.

But at the core of it all? Communication.
Communication that transcends cultures and languages.

Huge thanks to the Forbes Italia team for the feature!

Here is the translated article:

A VOICE WITHOUT BORDERS
From international stages to television, Pietro Polidori builds a global career in communication: languages, cultures, and vision at the service of the audience
by Mirko Crocoli

His name is Pietro Polidori, born in South Tyrol (Bressanone), entrepreneur and anchorman. He graduated in architecture before embarking on a path in live performance and communication, his field for many years now. His expertise ranges from television to events, including international conferences focused on economics and finance, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and electric mobility, all the way to grand galas and prestigious award ceremonies.

He speaks five languages (Italian, English, German, French, Spanish) and has built a background across 20 countries, with hundreds of performances to his name. He thrives on major challenges, as seen in his recent television experiences in Budapest, with FIFA in the heart of Wall Street in New York, and at Villa Alpebella in Versilia — contexts that have seen him alongside figures such as Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Academy Award winner Will Smith, Andrea Bocelli, and other Hollywood stars.

A polyglot, fresh from performing in English in talent-show-style TV formats broadcast in five European countries, he has also worked in Vienna, Berlin, and Hollywood, passing through key milestones in his professional growth such as Dubai, Monte Carlo, and Istanbul, as well as France, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland. Throughout his journey, he has interacted with global celebrities including Sting, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Tyson, Seal, Nicole Scherzinger, Jason Derulo, Flavio Briatore, as well as royalty, entrepreneurs, managers, and artists from various fields — from economics to the jet set.

“Running a business in the world of communication (and communicating yourself directly to an audience) is one of the most complex professions imaginable. It means constantly managing a multitude of different dynamics, both on stage and behind the scenes, paying attention to every nuance, while always considering the fundamental role of multiculturalism and the unique approach required for every interaction.

With Austrians and Central Europeans, I take a certain approach; with the French, another. If Germans and Northern Europeans seek more concreteness, Americans tend to appreciate visually spectacular scenarios, while with Italians we know that emotion and dialogue — even the ‘romanticism’ of the language — form the foundation for a successful outcome.

Being self-employed makes it even more delicate, because in certain moments you are putting everything on the line — with every decision you make and every connection you build, both in terms of future projects and on a purely personal level.

It is a beautiful profession, one that constantly fosters both professional and human growth. But I encourage all young people who want to pursue it to take it seriously and never leave anything to chance. Nothing. Talent matters, yes, I agree — but what truly counts is perseverance, and the ability to turn your mistakes (big or small) into the greatest lessons for the steps ahead.”**

Well then… see you on the next stage.
Ciao!
